Sweet Sunset - Pixel Art Bitmap Font

Sweet Sunset + Sweet Sunrise

A 8x17 pixel art variable-width bitmap font by yours truly, inspired by the bitmap font found in Final Fantasy IX.

It's available in .ttf form, spritesheet form in three sizes, and even separated by symbol (outlined only)! If you just want a spritesheet of the .ttf version, there's a spritesheet in here too. UPDATE: There's a special .fnt file for Godot users who want the crispy font in all its bitmap font glory!

It is recommended that you use an outline and drop shadow of some sort with this pixel art font. Use the colors from the spritesheets if you want.

BONUS: Do you use Godot and want to use it as a bitmap font?! Great! It's not complete, but I already have a version called "Sweet Sunrise" formatted as a font ready to use in Godot. It's less an even less complete version than the RPG Maker MV SFont format cause I'm working on it while I go, (but that's why this resource is free, I suppose). Use font size 20, and use a drop shadow, then use an outline size of 1. The gray parts of the font will adjust to alpha and neatly anti-alias the font's corners, even if you color the font in Godot. For accuracy, eye-drop the colors for both the drop shadow and outline from my Sweet Sunset spriteset.

BONUS * 2: Do you use RPG Maker MV?! Well, good news! If you use Victor's SFont plugin in addition to my font, the spritesheet that is labeled "SweetSunset_bitmap_x3" is already formatted to work with it! Just follow the instructions included!

There will be FREE updates for accented letters as well as some missing symbols, currencies, and some extra colors for the SFont users. There may be a few differences in between the .ttf and the spritesheets, including but not limited to a star and heart symbol and some accented letters. I just really wanted to give it to people who want to use it in the meantime.

Can be used in both personal and commercial projects. The sprites themselves can be edited to fit your game's needs, have extra colors, or whatever have you.
